The late L.A. based photographer John Free, encouraged me to strike out and share not only my photography (and hence the creation of this website) but the knowledge I’ve gained from a lifetime behind the lens. He gave me the confidence and recognision I needed to advance not just my photography, but its teachings. 

With over 40 years of experience working with 35mm and medium format film cameras, through study, professional practice, and countless hours of personal exploration, I’m offering online mentorship for photographers at any stage of their journey, including beginners and those who are building their portfolio.
