Documentary Projects
In 2025 Dylan began dedicating more of his time to documentary photography, and now focuses on projects that are intended to provide a photo essay of some of the key challenges facing people living in North Wales.
Projects are self funded and are expected to take anywhere between 1 to 5 years to fully complete. Projects are made up of individual stories, with selected images and updates shared via this project page, the blog and Instagram. The ultimate aim will be to publish books and exhibit the images.
Current documentary projects include:

“I believe documentary photography has a duty to truth. My work is grounded in an honest, unmanipulated approach, no staged scenes, no digital alterations, no airbrushing of reality.
I strive to show things as they are, not as someone might wish them to appear. In an age where image manipulation can distort public perception, I hold fast to the principle that photography should illuminate truth, not promote convenient lies.
My commitment is to the people, places, and moments I photograph in Wales, and to telling their stories with integrity, respect, and clarity”
